Snowboarding was one of five new sports or disciplines added to the Winter Olympic program between 1992 and 2002, and was the only one not to have been a previous medal or demonstration event.

What I do know about them comes from conversations that I have with people like Terje, athletes that participate in the Olympics, team managers, agents, every day snowboarders as well as what I was exposed to as a child from the television. I do know that every four years since 1998, snowboarding has been a part of the Olympics. So the question is…are the Olympics good for snowboarding?
